Sterley Stanley

Assemblyman Sterley S. Stanley is running for reelection to the New Jersey State Assembly, representing District 18, which covers municipalities such as East Brunswick and Highland Park. 

Assemblyman Stanley served on the East Brunswick Town Council from 2016-2021. Recently sworn in a special election at the beginning of 2021, Assemblyman Stanley has already proven to be a strong advocate for the environment. He has sponsored bills that would establish a Plastics Pollution Task Force, create pilot school bus electrification programs, and update green building efficiency standards, to name a few. He sits on the Assembly Health Committee, as well as the Law and Public Safety Committee.
