Mila Jasey
Assemblywoman Mila Jasey (D) represents the 27th Legislative District and is running for re-election. Prior to her election to the Assembly, she served on the South Orange-Maplewood Board of Education.
Assemblywoman Jasey co-sponsored legislation requiring New Jersey to rejoin the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative and opposing the Department of Environmental Protection’s flood hazard rule rollbacks; these bills protect our water resources and encourage renewable energy sources in the State. She received a 95% on New Jersey LCV’s 2017 Environmental Scorecard.
