Gordon Johnson
Assemblyman Gordon M. Johnson is running for re-election to the 37th Legislative District. Prior to his election to the Assembly in 2001, Assemblyman Johnson served as a Major in the U.S. Army Reserve and as the Bergen County Sheriff.
Assemblyman Johnson sponsored two important bills involving clean energy in New Jersey; one creates a Clean Vehicle Task Force to study clean vehicles, and the other creates a Solar Energy Study Commission to study the solar energy generation industry. Assemblyman Johnson received a 95% on New Jersey LCV’s 2017 Environmental Scorecard.
