Brendan Gill

Freeholder Brendan Gill was first elected to the Essex County Freeholders in 2011 and has been Freeholder President since 2018. Brendan has a record of implementing several green initiatives, such as Complete Streets, which is designed to reduce air pollution caused by traffic and auto emissions, and the prohibition of smoking in county parks. He has spent the last 10 years advocating for the Essex Hudson Greenway project, which, will create an 11 mile corridor from Montclair through Glen Ridge, Bloomfield, Belleville, Newark, and Kearny all the way to Jersey City that people can use for biking to work and getting more access to parks.

We are proud to endorse Freeholder Brendan Gill for Freeholder in Essex County and urge you to vote for Freeholder Gill in this year’s November 3rd general election.
