Hunterdon County Freeholder:
Shaun Van Doren

Shaun Van Doren has served as a Freeholder to Hunterdon County since 2017. He has been a strong supporter of the Highlands Act and worked with colleagues to enact the Hunterdon County Open Space Strategic Plan in 2018 which set out to protect an additional 4,000 acres of open space with a focus on land around local waterways. Freeholder Van Doren has opposed the PennEast pipeline and worked with Hunterdon County to hire legal counsel to help bolster the work of non-profits and impacted residents to fight this assault on their preserved open space and farmland.
