Doug Singleterry

Doug Singleterry is a candidate for Freeholder in Somerset County.

He has served as a member of the North Plainfield Borough Council for almost 15 years, and has held the position of both Council President and Council Vice-President. He also served as chapter chair of the former Tri-County Red Cross, providing disaster relief services for multiple municipalities spanning three counties. As a four-term council member for North Plainfield, Doug spearheaded the borough’s Green Team Committee which earned the town a Sustainable Jersey Certification and developed the sustainability component for the borough’s Master Plan.
