Assemblywoman Verlina Reynolds-Jackson
Assemblywoman Verlina Reynolds-Jackson is running for reelection to the New Jersey State Assembly, representing District 15, which covers municipalities such as Trenton, Hopewell, and Pennington.
Assemblywoman Reynolds-Jackson was first elected to the City Council in 2010 to represent Trenton’s East Ward, then elected by her peers in October 2014 to serve as the City Council's Vice President. She is the Vice-Chair of the Consumer Affairs Committee and sits on the Economic Justice and Equal Employment Opportunity Joint Committee, among others. Assemblywoman Reynolds-Jackson has proven to be a strong advocate for the environment, advancing various environmental bills through committees that focus on a wide range of issues such as social justice, environmental justice, water infrastructure improvements, and clean energy.
