Assemblyman Joe Danielsen

Joseph Danielsen has served on the Assembly since 2014 and currently represents Legislative District 17, which includes the Middlesex County municipalities of Milltown, New Brunswick, North Brunswick, and Piscataway; and the Somerset County municipality of Franklin.

Assemblyman Danielsen is the founder and owner of Network Blade, LLC, which is a computer consulting service. Additionally, he worked as a volunteer firefighter since 1992 and served in the U.S. Army’s 78th Div. Reserve TNG from 1982 to 1991. He also served his community on the Township of Franklin Planning Board from 1997 to 2010. While in office, Assemblyman Danielsen has been active in stopping the Franklin Township Compressor Station by both legislation and public hearings. Additionally, he has co-sponsored a number of pro-environment bills addressing issues like plastic pollution, pesticides, and electric vehicle infrastructure.
