District 20:
Joseph Cryan

Senator Joseph Cryan is running for reelection to the New Jersey State Senate in District 20, which covers municipalities such as Elizabeth and Union. 

Senator Cryan spent almost 14 years in the General Assembly before he was elected as sheriff of Union County in 2014. He was elected to the Senate in 2017 and is currently the Vice-Chair of the Law and Public Safety and Commerce committees, among others. Senator Cryan proved to be a strong advocate for the environment with a history of pro-environmental voting in the State Senate.
