Assemblywoman Carol Murphy

Assemblywoman Carol Murphy is running for reelection to the New Jersey State Assembly, representing District 7, which covers municipalities such as Moorestown and Mount Laurel. 

Assemblywoman Murphy’s professional experience includes her time as a Community Relations Manager for the New Jersey Schools Development Authority and the Director of Policy for the state legislature. In the legislature, she is the Vice-Chair of the Judiciary Committee, a member of the Budget and Financial Institutions Committees, and sits on the Infrastructure and Natural Resources Special Committee. 

As a member of the Natural Resources committee, she is proud of her commitment and focus to work on combating climate change, protecting clean air and water, modernizing our water infrastructure, and addressing pollution. Assemblywoman Murphy has sponsored numerous pieces of legislation to make sure our parks, beaches, and open spaces are properly funded and worked with her committee to make sure NJ is addressing the lead issues that affect many communities across the state.
