Assemblyman Dan Benson

Assemblyman Daniel Benson has represented the state's 14th Legislative District since 2011, which includes municipalities such as Hamilton, Robbinsville, and Plainsboro. 

Assemblyman Benson is an environmental champion who has prioritized investing in our communities to create economic opportunities, improving our overall quality of life, and making New Jersey more affordable for seniors and working families. He was elected to the Hamilton Township Council in 2002, becoming the youngest elected councilman in township history. Assemblyman Benson was a Mercer County Chosen Freeholder from 2008 to 2011, where he worked to preserve open space and as an assemblyman he has sponsored numerous bills regarding environmental protection and sustainability. 

Assemblyman Benson also sits on the Health and Senior Services Committee, the Law and Public Safety Committee, and the Transportation and Independent Authorities Board.
