Assemblyman Wayne DeAngelo

Assemblyman Wayne DeAngelo joined the Assembly in 2007 and represents New Jersey’s 14th District, which includes municipalities such as Hamilton, Robbinsville, and Plainsboro.

Assemblyman DeAngelo became a journeyman electrician with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 269 and maintains a role in local and regional labor union organizations, serving as the president of the Mercer County Building Trades. As a leader of IBEW Local 269, he led the implementation of one of the state's first large solar panel systems to encourage energy independence and promote the use of alternative sources of energy. Assemblyman DeAngelo was a primary sponsor the landmark Clean Renewable Energy Bill, which catalyzed our nation’s leading offshore wind program, mandated aggressive annual energy efficiency targets, and expanded access to clean energy through a community solar pilot program.

Assemblyman DeAngelo is Chair of the Telecommunications and Utilities Committee, and he sits on the Military and Veterans' Affairs Committee.

We are proud to endorse Assemblyman DeAngelo in the 14th District, and we urge you to vote for him on November 5th.
