Assemblywoman Verlina Reynolds-Jackson

Assemblywoman Verlina Reynolds-Jackson was appointed to serve as an Assemblywoman for the 15th District in 2018, representing municipalities including Trenton, Hopewell, and West Amwell.

Assemblywoman Reynolds-Jackson was elected to Trenton City Council in 2010 to represent Trenton’s East Ward, and she was elected by her peers in October 2014 to serve as the Council's Vice President. As a legislator, she is an environmental champion who continuously and vigorously advocates for environmental protection for our air, water, and open space, especially in the Pinelands. She has been a vocal supporter in the fight to address climate change and opposes the PennEast Pipeline. She was a co-sponsor of the landmark Clean Renewable Energy Bill, which catalyzed our nation’s leading offshore wind program, mandated aggressive annual energy efficiency targets, and expanded access to clean energy through a community solar pilot program. She also co-sponsored the Clean Stormwater and Flood Reduction Act.

Assemblywoman Reynolds-Jackson sits on the Assembly Consumer Affairs, State and Local Government, and Joint Committee on Economic Justice and Equal Employment Opportunity Committees.

We are proud to endorse Assemblywoman Reynolds-Jackson in the 15th District, and we urge you to vote for her on November 5th.
