Elizabeth Maher Muoio
Assemblywoman Elizabeth Maher Muoio (D) represents the 15th Legislative District and is running for re-election. A resident of Pennington since 1995, she has a long record of public service, including with the Hopewell Valley League of Women Voters and the Pennington Borough.
Assemblywoman Muoio is well-known for her fight against pipelines. Not only did she sponsor legislation opposing new pipeline projects, she also sponsored legislation urging the Governor to join the United States Climate Alliance and commit New Jersey to 80 percent renewable energy by 2050. For her strong leadership in the fight against climate change and for open space, Assemblywoman Muoio received an 81% on New Jersey LCV’s 2017 Environmental Scorecard.
