Andrew Zwicker
Assemblyman Andrew Zwicker (D) is running for re-election to the 16th legislative district, which he has represented since 2016. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Bard College and a PhD from Johns Hopkins University in physics. He currently is the Head of the Science Education Department and works in the Plasma Physics Laboratory at Princeton University. Much of his current research focuses on fusion energy.
Assemblyman Zwicker is passionate about the environment and renewable energy as a professional scientist. He has sponsored bills to establish solar power incentive programs, create an office of Clean Energy in the Board of Public Utilities, and protect drinking water.
