Joseph Vitale
Senator Joseph Vitale (D) is running for re-election to the 19th Legislative District. Born in Elizabeth, he is the former Mayor of Woodbridge Township and serves on the Board of Directors for the Middlesex County Habitat for Humanity.
Senator Vitale sponsored legislation supporting brownfield remediation, urged New Jersey to rejoin the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, and has pledged to support renewable energy. Senator Vitale received a 95% on New Jersey LCV’s 2017 Environmental Scorecard.
