Assemblyman John Armato

John Armato is the Assemblyman for New Jersey’s 2nd Legislative District, which represents most of Atlantic County from the farm lands on the Western end of the county all the way to the shore.

Elected to the Buena Vista Township Committee in 2015, Armato served as an environmental and green energy advocate while also fighting to keep Buena Vista affordable for middle class families. As an Assemblyman, he has taken the lead against the opioid and heroin epidemic, and he's been on the forefront of working to educate New Jersey families on safe prescription drug practices and disposal. Likewise, Armato has been a tireless advocate for veterans and union families, having served in the Air Force from 1967-1971 in addition to once being a member of Local 322 and a volunteer fire fighter with the Richland Fire Squad.

Assemblyman Armato is a member of the Commerce and Economic Development, Health and Senior Services, and Military and Veterans’ Affairs Committees. We are proud to endorse him in the 2nd District, and we urge you to vote for him on November 5th.
