Assemblyman Nicholas Chiaravalloti
Nicholas Chiaravalloti first joined the Assembly in 2016 and represents Legislative District 31, which serves Bayonne and most of Jersey City. Assemblyman Chiaravalloti currently serves as the Deputy Parliamentarian in the Assembly.
Assemblyman Chiaravalloti was born and raised in the city of Bayonne. He serves as Vice President for External Affairs and Special Counsel to the President for Hudson County Community College. Previously he worked at Saint Peter’s University as the Fr. John Corridan Fellow, was the Associate Vice President for Community Engagement, and served as the Executive Director of the Guarini Institute for Government and Leadership. He also previously served his community as the Bayonne Local Redevelopment Authority Executive Director from 2000 to 2002.
Assemblyman Chiaravalloti serves as the Vice Chair of the Human Services Committee. He also sits on the Commerce and Economic Development Committee and the Transportation and Independent Authorities Committee.
