Valerie Vainieri Huttle
Assemblywoman Valerie Vainieri Huttle (D) represents the 37th Legislative District and is running for re-election. Born in Englewood, she has served in the Assembly since 2006. Prior to her election to the Assembly, she served on the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and on the Bergen County Board of Freeholders.
Assemblywoman Vainieri Huttle sponsored important legislation urging the New Jersey Governor to rejoin the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative and requiring New Jersey to join the United States Climate Alliance. She frequently votes pro-environmental, and received an 86% on New Jersey LCV’s 2017 Environmental Scorecard.
