Gina LaPlaca
Gina LaPlaca is a Democratic candidate for the New Jersey General Assembly’s 8th District, which covers municipalities such as Hammonton, Evesham, Lumberton, Mount Holly, and Medford.
Gina is a government affairs professional with 15 years of public policy experience in the public and private sectors. In her spare time, she volunteers at her local animal shelter. Gina is the recipient of several awards including the Burlington County Times Emerging Leader Award (2015), the InsiderNJ Top 100 Policymakers (2017 & 2018), and the InsiderNJ 100 Power List (2018). Gina is the daughter of two environmental scientists and describes her relationship with, and commitment to, the environment as being lifelong. She was taught to value the importance of protecting our natural resources.
