Bob Jackson

Bob Jackson is a candidate for Middle Township Committee in Cape May County.

No stranger to elected office, Jackson served as Mayor of West Cape May from 2001-2005. Jackson was a former President and Legal Redress Chairman for the Local NAACP.  He is a volunteer on the Lighthouse Church Board of Ministries and the New Jersey Natural Areas Council. He was also a Middle Township Recreation Assistant from 2009-2017. An avid surf fisherman, Bob has a background in marine studies and is a former owner of a surf fishing center. While serving as a Commissioner on the Pinelands Commission from 2008 to 2015, Commissioner Jackson advocated for smart and sensible policies that protected the Pinelands. Despite fierce political pressure, Bob Jackson refused to support a project he believed would have harmed the environment and undermined the sanctity of the Pinelands – which is home to 17 trillion gallons of some of the cleanest water on the planet.

We are proud to endorse Bob Jackson for Middle Township Committee and urge you to vote for Bob in this year’s November 3rd general election.
