Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill Keynote
Governor Murphy and First Lady Tammy Murphy to receive awards
TRENTON, NJ – New Jersey LCV is proud to announce the honorees of its 2025 Gala, taking place on Monday, June 16, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM at The Palace at Somerset Park in Somerset, NJ. This highly anticipated annual event with the theme, “Power of our Voices”, celebrates outstanding environmental leaders whose work is helping shape a cleaner, healthier, and more equitable future for New Jersey.
The Gala gathers influential voices from across government, the private sector, and grassroots movements to support New Jersey LCV’s mission to advance bold climate policy, elect environmental champions, and protect New Jersey’s natural resources. The evening will feature a silent auction, inspiring speeches, and the opportunity to support ongoing advocacy efforts.
This year the event includes Honorary Co-chairs Governor Christine Todd Whitman and New Jersey’s DEP Commissioner, Shawn Latourette. Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill will be the keynote speaker.
“We are excited to recognize this year’s honorees whose vision and leadership are driving the transition to a clean energy economy in New Jersey,” said Ed Potosnak, Executive Director of New Jersey LCV. “These champions—across government, community, and industry—are rising to meet the climate crisis and are paving the way for a healthier, more just future for all of us. Their work gives us hope and momentum.”
