New Jersey LCV Victory Fund Invests Nearly $2 Million in 2025 Election Cycle to Elect Environmental Champions
Major New Investments in Governor’s Race and LD38 Assembly Race
TRENTON, N.J. – New Jersey LCV Victory Fund, the political voice for the environment in New Jersey, announced today that it is adding over half a million dollars to its existing digital ad buy bringing its total investment in the gubernatorial general election to $1.7 million. The group is also launching a new $55,000 digital program in Legislative District 38 to help re-elect environmental champions Lisa Swain and Chris Tully to the Assembly.
With these additions, New Jersey LCV Victory Fund will have invested nearly $2 million in the 2025 election cycle between the primary and general elections—marking one of the largest environmental campaign investments in state history.
“We’re going all in to make sure voters know what’s at stake in this election,” said Jesse Sutherland, Political Director, New Jersey LCV Victory Fund. “New Jersey needs leaders who will lower costs for families by investing in clean, renewable energy, not politicians who put fossil fuel profits ahead of people’s health and pocketbooks.”
The digital ads will continue to hold Jack Ciattarelli accountable for his record that would raise utility bills and slow clean energy progress while also supporting Assemblymembers Swain and Tully.
The new ads targeting voters in LD 38 focus on their efforts to lower utility bills by holding companies accountable.
“This investment reflects our commitment to ensuring voters know the truth about candidates’ records and who is really fighting for their communities,” added Sutherland. “Mikie Sherrill and our endorsed Assembly candidates in LD 38 will move New Jersey forward with clean energy, healthier communities, and a thriving economy for all.”
