LEGISLATIVE UPDATE FROM LEADING ENVIRONMENTAL GROUP

TRENTON – The following statement is from Ed Potosnak, Executive Director of New Jersey League of Conservation Voters on the successful passage of Assembly Resolutions (AR) 78 and 79:

“We are pleased the “complete count” resolutions AR78 and AR79 passed successfully out of the Assembly today,” said Ed Potosnak, Executive Director, New Jersey LCV.  “In addition to determining the number of congressional delegates that will represent New Jersey, the number of people recorded by the census influences the allocation of federal funding for social programs, school funding, and infrastructure improvements. Having the most accurate and complete information possible is the fabric of our democracy and vital to safeguarding our environment.”
